MEET MICHAEL MITCHELL

As a seasoned designer, with more than three decades of design experience, Mike has successfully served the needs of his broad based clientele, specializing in the production of full catalog design services. Whether working with a billion dollar company or one with smaller interests, Mike flawlessly executes the most challenging design concepts, invariably delivering both aesthetic and tangible results. Possessing a unique gift for producing exceptional catalog and brochure designs, Mike is never restricted by the scope of the project or the company’s budget, but instead focuses on the quality of the design and the influence on the market presence. Prior to establishing Lofty Designs, Mike served as Industrial Designer for GTE Communications in Huntsville, AL. In addition to applying his expertise in the areas of safety, convenience and maintenance, Mike was responsible for copyright and legal information in regard to all packaging graphics. He also holds four patents for telephone design.
An amiable, decisive and somewhat driven professional, Mike maintains a reputation as a results-oriented professional who flourishes when converting technical information into optimum marketing tools. In a word, Mike thrives on opportunities to empower others in today’s business culture, combining creativity and skill so as to generate superior product catalogs. Adding to his credits, Mike earned a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from Auburn University. He resides in Huntsville, Alabama and serves as a board member of the Youth Development Association. When time allows, Mike enjoys astronomy, music, tennis, art and coin collecting. As a devotee of Thomas Jefferson, Mike is also well versed on matters related to Jefferson.
